Action replaces his plastic first-aid kit by a cardboard fist-aid kit
Every year we all throw away alot of kilos of plastic waste, which not all gets recycled. Action wants to make a difference in society to reduce the plastic waste. That is why they make conscious choices in suppliers who share this vision with them, such as Koninklijke Utermöhlen. Among other things, we together took a critical look at the packaging material and provided a sustainable alternative, without compromising in product quality. This way, we continue to invest together in solutions to reduce, among other things, the impact on the environment. Despite the fact that the plastic first-aid kit has a storage function, many people throw it away if it is no longer complete. By replacing the plastic first-aid kit with a cardboard alternative, we immediately make an important contribution to a better environment.
About the Action cardboard first-aid kit and its contents
The plastic Action first-aid kit has been replaced by a sustainable cardboard variant. The new cardboard first-aid box is made of sturdy cardboard that is responsibly produced. The first-aid kit is therefore provided with the FSC sustainability label. The contents and price of the first aid kit remain as customers are used to and will not change. Due to the sturdy design, the cardboard first-aid kit can be stored in a permanent place in the house, just like the old plastic variant. Also the packaging materials of the products in the first-aid kit have been reduced in plastic as far as possible, taking into account that the sterility, quality or safety of the product is not compromised. This way together we keep tens of thousands kilos plastic out of our environment every year.
